MeroëCATERING

Our story · From Alexandria, Egypt

A family from Alexandria, Egypt, cooking the food we grew up on.

A mother and daughter cooking together

The mother

The heart of our kitchen

Mama grew up by the sea in Alexandria, where fish came straight from the boats to the family table. Her singari, sayadeya rice and seafood tagen are made slowly, by hand, the way her own mother taught her.

The daughter

Carrying it forward

Her daughter grew up at her side and now cooks right alongside her — keeping the family recipes alive and adding her own touch to desserts like mousse cups and kunafa.

25% of every order goes to charity. Sharing food has always meant sharing with others, too.

Why "Meroë"?

"Mero" is Mama's nickname — so the kitchen is named after her. Meroë was also an ancient city on the Nile, known for its pyramids. Our logo's two pyramids stand side by side — a mother and a daughter — under one sun.
